Arcelito believes that every person has the capacity for growth, healing, and meaningful change when given a safe, supportive, and compassionate environment. His counseling approach is grounded in the understanding that therapy is a collaborative process where counselor and client work together to explore patterns, process difficult experiences, and develop healthier ways of thinking, feeling, and relating. Arcelito strives to create a space where individuals feel seen, heard, and valued as they work through life’s challenges and pursue lasting transformation.

In his work with clients, Arcelito integrates evidence-based therapeutic approaches including trauma-informed care, EMDR, and cognitive-behavioral strategies. At the same time, he honors each person’s unique story, identity, and strengths, recognizing that healing is not one-size-fits-all. His approach is both clinically grounded and relationally focused, helping clients address past wounds while building practical tools for healthier emotional and relational patterns.

Arcelito also believes that healing happens through relationships and ultimately through the restoring work of Jesus Christ. His desire is to walk alongside clients with compassion and wisdom, helping them move toward deeper freedom, emotional health, and renewed hope.

Arcelito earned his Master of Social Work from California Baptist University in 2023 and his Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies from the University of California, Berkeley in 2016. He is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker through the California Board of Behavioral Sciences and completed specialized training in EMDR in 2024.
